Beim Durchsehen der Tutorialvideos hat mich persönlich als Neueinsteiger das neue Admin Panel angesprochen. Dadurch fällt teilweise das hin und her wechseln von Frontend zu Backend nicht so sehr ins Gewicht. Um den Zusammenhang zwischen Frontend und Backend zu verstehen und sich an die Umstellung zum Denken, in diesen zwei Ebenen zu gewöhnen, finde ich das Panel sehr hilfreich. Man arbeitet gleich auf der Bühne, anstatt hinter den Kulissen.
Als Beispiel finde ich da zwei Funktionen toll. Einerseits können noch deaktivierte Inhalte angezeigt und kontrolliert werden, ohne diese im Backend aktivieren zu müssen. Andererseits sind die Simulationsmöglichkeiten für einen gewissen Zeitpunkt oder eine spezifische Usergruppe äusserst praktisch. So ist alles schon im voraus überprüfbar.
Um die Webseite auch in anderen Bildschirmformaten in Augenschein nehmen zu können, ist die View Funktion im Backend sehr hilfreich. Einige Grundformate sind bereits vorhanden, jedoch können auch individuelle Pixelangaben gemacht werden.
Mein Bürokollege Lukas Schwarzenbacher arbeitet schon längere Zeit mit Typo3. Er wiederum ist enthusiastisch über das neue Site Management. Mit diesem können viel schneller und wesentlich einfacher Konfigurationen bezüglich Identifikation, Sprache und Error Status vorgenommen werden, als bei den früheren Verisonen von Typo3.
Auch sonst wurde die benötigte Klickanzahl in einigen Bereichen reduziert, womit an vielen Orten gewünschte Änderungen schneller abgeschlossen werden können. Ich selbst bin gespannt auf die Weiterarbeit mit Typo3 und zusätzliche Veränderungen und Verbesserungen, die noch folgen mögen.

This May, I started my internship here at Islandart. Until then, I haven't heard of the CMS before and therefore, I'm quite new with Typo3 and still getting to know everything. Additionally, it's a convenient and exciting point now with the release of version 9.5.
Looking through the tutorial videos as a newcomer, the new admin panel caught my attention. With that, the whole changing from frontend to backend isn't of much consequence anymore. I find the panel very helpful to understanding the relations between frontend and backend and to getting used to the thinking in these two layers. You work right on the stage, instead of behind the scenes.
For example, I find two functions great. Once, you can show still deactivated content and control it, without having to activate them in the backend. On the other hand, the simulation options for a particular point in time or a specific user group are extremely handy. With that, everything is checkable in advance.
To have an eye on the website in other screen formats, the view feature in the backend is very helpful. Some standard formats are already available, but individual pixel data can be put in as well.
My office colleague Lukas Schwarzenbacher has already been working with Typo3 for a longer time. He on the other hand, is enthusiastic about the new Site Management. With that, making modifications concerning identification, language and error status is much quicker than in the earlier Typo3 versions.
All in all, the necessary click times were reduced in some areas, with what changes can be finished more quickly. I myself am curious about the upcoming work with Typo3 and additional changes and improvements, that might follow.
